想順利完成雅思閱讀40道題 這一技能須掌握
學(xué)生如果要在一個(gè)小時(shí)內(nèi)順利完成三篇文章的理解并回答完配套的40道題，必須能夠嫻熟地操作此過程。
比如劍橋真題系列10的Test Two中有篇文章"Tea and the Industrial Revolution"里有這樣一句話，"There are about 20 different factors and all of them need to be present before the revolution can happen"。我們據(jù)此可以預(yù)測(cè)下文該羅列這些因素了，從而迅速把握作者此處的思想脈絡(luò)。
再比如劍10中的另一篇文章"Autumn Leaves"里，在第三段末尾有這樣一句話"But it is hard to make sense of the manufacture of anthocyanins--- why should a tree bother making new chemicals in its leaves when it's already scrambling to withdraw and preserve the ones already there?"
緊接著第四段開頭出現(xiàn)"Some theories about anthocyanins have argued that…"，我們可以預(yù)測(cè)這些理論會(huì)被否定掉，然后在檢驗(yàn)的過程中會(huì)果然發(fā)現(xiàn)后面的轉(zhuǎn)折"However there are problems with each of these theories,…"。
然后第五段開頭有"It has also been proposed that…"，我們可以預(yù)測(cè)這個(gè)觀點(diǎn)也不會(huì)被作者所接受，經(jīng)檢驗(yàn)，會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)后面的"The flaw in this theory lies in…"，從而確定之前的預(yù)測(cè)。然后，第六段首句的"Perhaps the most plausible suggestion as to… is …"告訴我們這個(gè)理論才是作者要重點(diǎn)探討的。
