托福寫作之綜合寫作相關(guān)要求

 無(wú)論綜合還是獨(dú)立，一個(gè)好的開(kāi)頭都是非常重要的。在呈現(xiàn)開(kāi)頭的時(shí)候一定要注意核心觀點(diǎn)的表述。

例一：

Do you agree or disagree the following statement?

Technology make people’s lives more complicated.

Technology is of great importance to our modern living. However/but some people argue that it has rendered/made people’s lives more complex/not as simple as before. I agree/disagree (with the statement).

例二：

University students should be required to take basic science classes even if they are not part of the field of the study.

University curriculum plays an important role in a college student’s academic pursuit and even job choices. Some educators are having differing opinions about whether all students (no matter what fields they major in) should be demanded/forced to attend basic science classes. I believe such courses will bring more benefits to students.

例三： Would you rather have a friend that you can have fun with or a friend that is intelligent? 2015.6.27

Friends mean a lot to us.

// people walk in and walk out of our lives; friends are the ones we can count on no matter what.

Some people argue/advocate that making friends with smart people will bring more benefits/do us good along the way. But the idea of having humorous friends appeals to me.

例四：Some people prefer to do exercise alone while others would like to group sports. Which do you prefer?

Exercise is of great importance to our both physical and mental health.

//exercise keeps the body in good shape and puts our mind in a sound state. Some people may advocate participating in a sport group. I, however, go for doing sports alone.

例五：Which is the most important thing for a political leader to ensure the prosperity of a country:

1)Creating more jobs

2)increasing agriculture and lowering food prices

3)increasing access to affordable housing(2016.5.22ML)

A nation cannot prosper without sound policies from its leaders. Some people/citizens argue that providing more jobs is more important than/should be given more emphasis than developing agriculture and offering cheap/inexpensive housing/accommodation. I, however, think developing agriculture should be on the top of priority list.

例6: tpo開(kāi)頭段

Populations of the yellow cedar, a species of tree that is common in[普遍] northwestern North America, have been steadily declining for more than a century now, since about 1880. Scientists have advanced several hypotheses to explain this decline.

這種樹(shù)很常見(jiàn)，數(shù)量下降也持續(xù)一個(gè)多世紀(jì)了。所以科學(xué)家在關(guān)注，提出幾個(gè)假設(shè)來(lái)解釋這個(gè)問(wèn)題。

因此也是： 話題很普遍+引起關(guān)注+文章的中心內(nèi)容

所以我們以后在進(jìn)行綜合寫作時(shí)，總觀點(diǎn)一定在開(kāi)頭段最后一句!

劃重點(diǎn)：

1. 理清開(kāi)頭段的展開(kāi)邏輯。

2. 挑選自己能夠掌握的句型去表達(dá)。

3. 注意，開(kāi)頭段我們的要求是：但求無(wú)過(guò)。邏輯清晰，表達(dá)準(zhǔn)確。留下充裕的時(shí)間給更為重要的中間段寫作。所以不要太過(guò)糾結(jié)開(kāi)頭段的表達(dá)是否是非常出彩。
