“I think”之外的“我認(rèn)為”

1. As far as I’m concerned “據(jù)我所知;就我來(lái)看;我認(rèn)為”

Eg: As far as I’m concerned, youth offenders should be punished by law. But .........

2.If I may say so “如果我能這么講”“我認(rèn)為”  Eg: You look much younger than your actual age if I may say so.

3. If you ask me “我認(rèn)為，如果你問(wèn)我”   Eg：Books are more beneficial for children compared with computers if you ask me.

4. To my mind /In my opinion “在我心里，我認(rèn)為”   Eg: But an honest question posed from a broken heart is to my mind a good and righteous thing.

此外還可以用以下短語(yǔ)表達(dá)：As I see it —— 就我所知; As far as I know——就我所知; I’m convinced that——我相信……比如：“Global warming is a recent problem as far as I know.”

關(guān)于“喜好”

口語(yǔ)考試中避不開(kāi)的話題就是“好”，假如考官問(wèn)你："Do you like swimming?"你難道只能回答"I like/love swimming"嗎……感受一下高級(jí)玩法~

1. This appeals to me because……這對(duì)我很有吸引力，因?yàn)?hellip;…(這樣回答既表明你的態(tài)度，又闡述了喜愛(ài)的原因)比如：“swimming appeals to me because it's such a great way to relieve stress .”

2. “I am keen on doing something"/ “ I am keen to do something”......我對(duì)某事充滿了熱情

比如：“I was keen on going to the party but two centimeters of snow fell in London and trains didn't run."

同樣地，如果你對(duì)某事并不熱衷，使用" I am not keen on doing something."即可。

Asking for clarification

有時(shí)你沒(méi)聽(tīng)清或聽(tīng)懂對(duì)方的話語(yǔ)，不用不好意思~你可以禮貌的請(qǐng)他再說(shuō)一遍，解釋一下，以下這三種表達(dá)方式都可以使用：

1. Sorry, I didn't quite catch that. 對(duì)不起，我沒(méi)聽(tīng)清楚。

2. Could you say that again? 你能再說(shuō)一遍嗎？

3. Could you explain what you mean by…? 你能解釋關(guān)于……的意思嗎？

比如：“could you explain what you mean by bricks and mortar business?”

Providing clarification

如果你需要解釋、澄清你的剛才說(shuō)的話，以下三種方式都可以：

1. To put it another way換一種方式說(shuō)

2. What I'm trying to say is…  我想說(shuō)的是……

3. What I mean is…  我的意思是……

比如：“What I'm trying to say is that maybe you can't approach this as a purely intellectual exercise.”

應(yīng)對(duì)沉默

面對(duì)口語(yǔ)考官，如果你不知道該說(shuō)什么，千萬(wàn)不要保持沉默！你可以說(shuō)一些類似這樣的話來(lái)緩解尷尬~

1. It's quite a difficult question  這是一個(gè)相當(dāng)困難的問(wèn)題

2. That's a good question  這是一個(gè)很好的問(wèn)題

3. I've never thought about it before but I guess…  之前我從來(lái)沒(méi)有想過(guò)這個(gè)問(wèn)題, 但我想……(在這之后你就得想到如何回答問(wèn)題了)

同意某個(gè)觀點(diǎn)

有時(shí)，考官會(huì)問(wèn)你某個(gè)觀點(diǎn)同意與否，假如同意，你可以這樣回答：

1. I couldn't agree more——我非常贊同

2. I totally agree——我完全同意

3. Absolutely/Definitely——絕對(duì)，肯定例如："absolutely young people spend way too much time on social media."

4. I tend to agree(with) that  “我傾向于同意……" (這是一種比較溫和的同意形式)

5. It depends/I think it really depends  “這取決于……”(這是一種更理性的回答)

表達(dá)不同意見(jiàn)

1. That’s one way of looking at it. However……

這是看問(wèn)題的一種方式，然而......

2. That's not always true——事實(shí)并非總是如此

“some people say that getting education is the best way to prepare for the future, however that's not always true.

In some situations hands-on experience is much more valuable.”

應(yīng)對(duì)其他情況

1. I've never really thought about it——我還真沒(méi)想過(guò)……

當(dāng)你遇到一個(gè)猝不及防、意想不到的問(wèn)題，你就可以用這句話來(lái)緩沖，如下：

“Oh, what is your favorite wild animal?”“Well, I've never really thought about it but I'm quite fond of big cats. For example, Tigers and leopards.”

2. To sum up/To wrap up如果你想在考官終止你的回答之前主動(dòng)結(jié)束對(duì)話，最好表示你馬上就會(huì)回答完畢用” to sum up” 或者” to wrap up”即可

比如：" To wrap up I'm really fond of Miami because of its diversity and tropical climate."
